Josh's Birthday Party

Ok, so this is Josh's birthday party. Today Josh turned 2 years old. He loves cars, horses and Finding Nemo. He loves to wrestle, play ball and be outside whenever he can. So, about the party. it went great. Carly, Kaela, Jackson and Ava were all there to support him. He got a lot of presents. He was given a basketball set, he had a pinata that everyonegota chance to hit, toy dinosaurs, a remote control Lightning McQueen, little toy cars and a lot of fun! Everyone got a toy of some sort. mom, Megan and I went to Target yesterday and bought a lot of things.


This is the pinata that we bought at Target. It took a lot to just fill it. We had to cut another hole so we could fit candy in there. We put toys in there and snickers.

This is baby Jack. He is seven months old and he is always happy. He loves to be held and loves to chew on things. He is beginning to crawl and is very vocal.

This is Carly. She got a soccer set and it came with shin guards, a goal and a soccer ball. She also got a tin purse that has tinkerbell on it. It's VERY cute!

This is Carly's tin purse filled to the top with candy. She has toys in there, Snickers and Starburst.

This is the birthday cake that Mom made. It's a chocolate cake with ice cream in the middle and had a homemade whipped cream as a frosting. She put M&MS on the top and the outside as a boarder. She decorated it with carmel and chocolate on the top with cherries surrounding the 2 candle. It was delicious!

Megan is putting together a soccer set for Carly. She had a few troubles but got the goal put together in the end with help from Damon.

Nahla

As you all have probably heard, Nahla has contracted cancer. She is taking medication to help her fight it, but the cancer is already embedded in her bone and will come back and end up killing her.

I was trying to figure out how to work the caera and the camera screen turned blue. I thought that she looked really cool like this.





This was a lucky shot. I shot the picture and she had her eyes closed and it looks like she's laughing.


In this shot, Nahla looks like she's smiling. I was just finishing giving her, her walk and went inside and got the camera. I love this picture because she looks like she's happy and she looks like she had a great life.

Happiness is a true wonder. A smile will get you a long way compared to living like you don't care. This is Nahla living life to the fullest on our front lawn.

This is Nahla taking a nice, loooooooong stretch right in front of me. See? there's my foot.

This is the medicine that Nahla has to take. The one on the right is called Pednisone. The one on the left is called Amoxicillin. As of right now, Nahla doesn't have the bulge on the right side of her face.

Prom

So, this is my prom date, Dace Taylor. He is a friend from school and he hangs out with our group. I had a lot of fun. This was the first time I went to Prom and it's the last.
First, we came over to our house and had a group of four people. There was Dace, Brittney, Matt and then me. Everyone wanted pizza, so mom took out out fine china and made the whole pizza thing fancy. Everyone was intimidated. They didn't want to ruin the plates and everything.
After that, Brittney and I got ready here and Matt and Dace went back to Dace's house to get ready. After we were done, we went to the Convention Center. Dace drove us there and we staye until 11 pm. We walked around Main street until 12 am and then we went back home. Everyone left and then i spent an hour getting ready for bed because i put a lot of make up on and it wouldn't come off!








This is me in my Prom Dress! We went to Alysses in American Fort, Utah. We spent at least a couple of hours trying on dresses and looking for the right one to wear to the prom and this is it!
Mom spent a lot of time taking pictures of Dace and I. She thought Dace was such a nice guy and he is!
